A local man, recruited in Yerevan to act as a guide and guard on the final leg of the journey to find the old covenant. When Martiros, who was recruited alongside him was rejected after it was noticed that he was heretical in his religious views, he brought along his own brother Aram as a replacement.
Although initially recruited for a short time, has been taken on as permanent staff.
Has requested he (and Aram) be a preferred choice for trips to Yerevan, so they can see friends and family.
